I visited this location with a friend of mine who lives down the bend from this spot, I am not from the immediate area myself. I know this isn't the best of areas but that shouldn't be an excuse. We called in our order 10 minutes before we both walked in to pick up 2 honey BBQ chicken melts and cashed out at the take out window. Upon walking into the entryway we both were stopped with a funky mold/dirty smell that we both mentioned to each other after we paid for our sandwiches. We were out doing errands for a while beforehand so I used the restroom that was dirty had a caution wet floor sign blocking the door but if the floors were washed they were done with dirty mop water or something because my feet were sticking with every step. While using the facilities there was a little boy and his older female caretaker using the ladies room. The older lady was in the stall next to me while the little boy waited in the main part of the extremely small restroom. A restroom that small should maybe be used as a single stall/use since the sink is stuffed into the corner. BUT, back to me main point. the entire time the little boy was waiting he repeated himself at least 6 times. Why does the trash stink so bad? to the response of his caretaker...I don't know Brody over and over. I don't blame him, it definitely reeked! After the dirty unfortunately very necessary trip to the ladies room I joined my friend to wait another 15+ minutes for our two sandwiches that are essentially 3 chicken fingers tossed in BBQ sauce on grilled toast with bacon and cheese. The only difference between the two was one was with ranch and the other without. For some reason they completed mine packaged it and left it sitting on the counter while they JUST STARTED making the 2nd one. My dinner sat on the counter while we waited another 10 minutes for the second one. Once the 2nd sandwich was completed again both our packed sandwiches sat on the counter while the counter employee who had seen us standing there forever walked away to take another ice cream order. How about you pay attention to the two people who have waited over 30 minutes plus 10mins drive to restaurant ordering time and hand them their bag. Once we got to her apartment to finally eat our dinner instead of our hands we found no napkins utensils or anything. we know its a friendly's not a gourmet restaurant but this was the worst example of this chain either of us have ever been to. I wouldn't be surprised if people go home with sour bellies and attitudes on a regular basis from this location either. Needs New Management Bad!

This is a dirty place. The menu pages are stuck together and the tables have a film of dirty rag water on them. The bathrooms at this friendlys are the absolute worst thing about this place, though. They just smell so much like urine. It is disgusting. Also, the last time I was there and waiting for a table we could see and hear the staff loudly fighting with each other in the kitchen because it is so open and visible from the entry area. I generally like the food and ice cream here and bring my son because he enjoys the food too. But will never go to this particular location again!

About a month ago my grandson got me to go to this restaurant for breakfast. I would never have picked this as my choice. The special I selected was "spot on". I had two eggs, home fries, two sausage links, english muffins and two enormous pancakes for $4.99. My grandson had a large stack of pancakes for $3.99. He had orange juice, I had coffee....because I was a senior, my coffee was free (unlimited). The check for the meal came to $9.70. Let me repeat that, $9.70! Where can you get a meal for that? I introduced my monthly breakfast club to this restaurant. Normally our bill was about $50. at IHOP, it was about $30. here. I won't say this is the best eggs or home fries I've had, but they were ok. The pancakes were quite good. The unlimited coffee cannot be beat! One final note, the waitresses are friendly and attentive and have made it a pleasurable experience. Not the best, but if you want a good breakfast for a good price, this is the place. I have been back a few times! I consider myself a new customer. .. .

My partner told me that he used to love Friendly's. His parents would bring him here all of the time. I thought it would be a cute gesture to try and relive those awesome memories. I was wrong. And he agreed. If I could rate this 1/2 a star, I would! There were so many things wrong with this visit that I would NEVER go again. 1. There is a horrible stench that does everything but welcome you into the establishment. Wet rag? Nasty carpet? No idea what it was but that was a warning sign I should've abided by. 2. The place is dirty. Napkins, straw wrappers, crayons, dried up food, and stains everywhere. The menus were sticky and I wish I never touched them. 3. Our waitress never told us her name. I tried to order two flavors off of the menu - both of them were 'no longer being served here'. She suggested I order a 'Friend-Z' and I didn't have any desire to disagree. My partner ordered a brownie sundae. We thought the ice cream could be the saving grace - maybe we'd come for take-out if it were yummy... 4. NOPE! Goopy, melted messes. Unappetizing presentation, poor flavor, sad + never returning customer. We didn't think ice cream could be done incorrectly. Friendly's proved us wrong.

Bad smell in entrance, must be the rug. Terrible service, okay food. This place will definitely close its doors if it keeps it this way.

This is Friendly's, people. Not exactly home of the elite cuisine. The food was exactly what I expected. However, the shining star of this visit was our waitress, Doris. She was so much fun! She was just the stereotypical image of the American Diner waitress, even down to the name!!

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Snails crossing the Mojave move faster than the service here. If I could rate this place a negative 5 stars, I would.

I wish i could give this restaurant negative stars. By far the WORST service i have ever had. We went in on a sunday night waited by the hostess for 20 minutes along with 5 other groups of people waiting to be seated. The servers werent even making eye contact with the customers and we told it would be another 15 minutes on top of the 20 minutes we just waited, seeming as though they WANTED everyone to leave so they could just focus on their ice cream take out area. There was a whole back row of tables and 4 tables that needed to be cleaned. Instead of cleaning off the tables or placing customers in the empty back row which had at least 8 tables theyd rather them wait at the door in a herd of people. We ended up walking out along with 2 other groups of people. For workers that work on tips you would think theyd be a little better with the public AND their job. UNBELIEVEABLE. I will deffinitly not be visiting this friendlys location again along with everyone i know.

I love this place for their desserts the most! They have american food...cheeseburgers, fries, etc. I enjoy it a lot. They have those works of arts of sundaes that they make in the back. Highly recommend m&ms, caramel, chocolate, Heath, with vanilla ice cream, whipped and cherry on top. Delicious

Seeing as though I used to love Friendly's as a kid, I will never EVER eat breakfast there again after having a horrible, disgusting experience there once a long time ago. I was with my dad one morning and we decided to go here for breakfast. I was starving and ended up ordering a plate of pancakes. When the waitress came with the food, I was absolutely appauled at what I saw, which was a dark, disturbingly long piece of hair dead in the middle of my pancakes. Are you kidding me? The waitress was even careless when my dad yelled at her about it until he threatened to walk out, only then did she try to give me another batch of "free" pancakes. The only reason why I'm giving this disgusting place two stars is only because I love the ice cream, Monster Mash was always a fave. Atleast the ice cream is hairless...for now. Wear hairnets for heaven's sake!

Slow service, my wife got a chicken sandwich that was WAY undercooked. The returned cooked sandwich had a hair in it.We wont be going there again.

  • A Z.

GROSS. You've eaten at friendly's before, so besides the food, this is the nastiest, dirtiest branch I've ever been to, with possibly the worst service. The floors look like they haven't been cleaned since they first opened, the tables are sticky and have leftover food on them, and the whole place smells like dirty mop water. I only went here because my 10 year old brother was staying the weekend at my apartment while my mom was on vacation and he wanted to go. Even he commented on the slow service and overall yuckiness, and he (being a kid) is usually oblivious to these things. As for the service.. if you enjoy waiting 20 minutes for someone to take your drink order and another 20 minutes to get the drink, then having to repeat you order over and over again because the waitresses think they're too big of waitress superstars to use a notepad, then this is the place for you.
